Do spiritual gifts still exist in the church? Where does it say in the Bible? My spiritual testimony.

  1. Thank you for your teaching. Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little. Every word of GOD sent out never returns back to HIM void, but accomplishes what it鈥檚 sent to do. I love listening to teaching in word, because it never lifts man but GOD.

  2. What does it sound like hearing a Angel speak ??
I completely enjoyed listening to my first post from you馃檹馃徎

I Corinthians 12 names nine distinct fits of the Holy Spirit: speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, healings, miracles, faith, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, and discernment of spirits. Many of these are quite real in my own walk, since I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit just after Christmas in 1972 at a Catholic monastery in New York, while being prayed over by two Protestant street preachers, a guy from Oklahoma named Rick and a guy from Buffalo named Amen. Tongues are a nice gift but need a translation into English which usually follows. Prophecy is rare but always true. Knowledge and wisdom come while contemplating passages from the Bible and allowing the mind to open to their meanings. I have not received the gifts of healing and miracles, but I do have a keen discernment of good & evil spirits (angels and demons for example). The key to receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prayer and unqualified praise of our Lord Father and Lord Jesus the Messiah/Anointed One/Son of Man.
